Description:
This kit provides power in the case of load shedding and grid failures using the Victron backup system. An 1.6 kW PV solar system (see Phase 2) can later be added on to this system converting it into a grid-tie system. It has an 1.6 kVA battery inverter for essential loads with a 200 Ah battery backup capacity (4.8kWh, or 2.4 kWh at 50% DOD). The batteries have a cycle life of 500 cycles at 50% DOD. The system can be monitored using Victron BMV. Other communication devices are also available on request. The system have a 12 Way Distribution board with input and output circuit breakers and space available for solar connection.

- 2 x Royal N200 Ah / 12V lead acid batteries and
- 1 x Distribution box including input and output circuit breakers, 12 way enclosure, DC battery cabling, NH00 battery fuse.
